Cat Sit Benefits

We are cat-sitting this week. This is our only feline customer and the work is very easy compared to some dogs we have dealt with over the years.

Last night after we had done our scoop/mail/lights/water/try-to-play-with-the-cat duties, we sat in the living room. We stay 30 minutes and I know Allie the Cat liked it. She was always nearby.

Youngest son said-
"This is pretty easy work."

I said-
"Well, that is life. Some days you get paid for easy work, other times you will have a very difficult job with little to no pay." (this was said in my best motherly-wisdom-voice)

He said-
"Well, it is really nice for you. You get to sit and read in a living room that is much neater than your own."

He is right!
