I first saw this painting (print) at a friends house, hanging in her master bedroom. This is the friend with whom we used to trade dogs while each of our families travelled. I always love it. Peaceful. Calm. It is called Master Bedroom (I think) and is by Andrew Wyeth.
Well, I have a little extra cash from my dogsitting and editor jobs. I saw this on sale at Kirkland's and now it is hanging in our office (the room with the new doors). It is over a sage green couch that is not spectacular, but the painting makes it look just right.
I love it.
